Jessica Huse Benefit Concert March 19, 2011

I wish I could say that I knew Jessica before the car accident she was involved in, but I can't (Click here --->Jessica Huse to learn about her story and keep up on current events).

However, through all the people that I know that have gone to or still go to Valley Christian High School, I felt a bit of a connection when I first heard the painful news of her situation. My heart broke for her and her family and friends when I heard the news. One of the first things I learned about Jessica's family and friends though, is that when they say they're going to rally up support, they MEAN IT! They first put on a benefit concert at Calvary Church in Los Gatos and had an amazing turn out. Then they planned on this benefit concert at Church on the Hill and despite the crazy weather, the support group showed up again! Maybe not in the same numbers as the first one, but take a look at the next picture down and you can see just how amazing it is that Jessica has SO MANY dedicated loved ones who are going to be by her side every step of the way.

After such a great night of worship and celebration of the greatness of God, and the support that continues to surround Jessica Huse, we decided to take a quick snap shot of a handful of people who were involved with the fundraiser that took place on March 19, 2011 at Church on the Hill in San Jose, CA.

Here's a birds-eye view of the concert.
One of the coolest things about this concert was the collaboration of several amazing worship leaders and worship team members from throughout San Jose.

Andy Gridley and Scott Primeau did a great job leading the night in worship. Nothing better than some honest humble worship leaders who's main focus is on Christ. You could definitely feel the Holy Spirit in the room the whole night.
(Visit Scott Primeau's facebook to find out more about his music.)
Andy Gridley is one of my favorite worship leaders in the Bay Area, and I am so grateful to be able to say that a while back, I had the honor of being a part of his worship team at Calvary Church in Los Gatos. He's amazingly talented, funny, and you can tell that he has such a great heart and a passion for helping others.
(Make sure you check out some of his solo work too! Andy's facebook page)

Jason Noriega is definitely a talented musician, but even more importantly, he is such a kind person and truly had a heart for others. He always goes the extra mile to get the word out about any fundraising events that are coming up. (So in order to help support Jason, visit his facebook page set up for his realty business, click here!)

Josh Fox, of Santa Cruz, CA,was the night's special guest artist and him and his group did such a wonderful job!

All in all, this was such a great night. It was so encouraging to see all sorts of people from churches throughout the Bay Area come together for the single goal of supporting a family in need. I hope that Jessica continues to get better and that any future fundraising events can further help relieve her family of the burden of high medical costs. My prayers are always with the Huse family and all of Jessica's friends that I've gotten to know over the past couple years. You are all amazing people and I thank you for letting me be a part of all this!
