Quynh Dang Lu Family Christmas Pictures

We had such a great time meeting up with Quynh and her family in Gilroy, CA to take some family photos while their family was in town for Thanksgiving. Their little baby girl Emma was quite the trooper during our session. She was very tired, but extremely adorable... and you'll see just how cute she is in the pictures below. :)

It's always a blessing to see a small child surrounded by such a loving family.

Baby Emma

Ooooh, big yawn!

We hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas, Quynh, and we wish you all the best in 2012!!

Porta Family Christmas Pictures

The Porta Family
I had such a great opportunity to take some family Christmas pictures for my cousin Leah and her family. One thing you need to know about this family is that they are FULL of LOVE! Their son Henry is a kid with special needs. Henry has Autism Disorder, but is one of the most precious human beings you'll ever meet. Along with very many other people who have autism, Henry is genuine in his feelings and emotions, and you can tell that his feelings with his siblings and his parents is pure Love!

(I also gotta say, Henry did a great job during our session, even with my constant requests to pose, and pose, and pose, and... well you get it! He put up with me very well!!)

Jacob is a future Grammy winning musician, be on the look out!
Enjoying some of the "fruits" of Gizdich
More Gizdich treats!

See what I mean about the pure love that Henry has for his family?!

Samson was pretty excited for the Pirates of the Caribbean key that I gave him before our session. Both him and Henry had a load of energy to spend out at the ranch!! Here they are, both in full sprint, enjoying life!

One thing you'll notice is that Henry likes to carry a long string of material. Whether it's  some rope, yarn, or pieces of torn-up plastic bags that he ties together, Henry loves to have something with him. Too cute!
I asked Samson to show off his huge muscles, and then he showed me how good his jumping skills are and leaped up to grab an apple.

Merry Christmas you guys, from Luke and BreAnne!! :)

BreAnne and Luke Christmas 2011

Well, BreAnne has no idea that I'm making this blog post right now. Hopefully she'll like it! LOL. We took a handful of pictures a couple months ago for our Christmas cards and since we don't often go out and just take pictures of ourselves, I wanted to put together a special Christmas blog. Partly for fun, and partly to say Merry Christmas to anyone who follows our blog!! So MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
(Update: She saw it. She liked it. Yay!)
Merry Christmas from 1985LUKE Photography!
I think the progression of my posing was 1) Taking a normal picture 2) Trying to take a serious picture 3) Realizing I was way more serious than I needed to be, and laughing about it 4) Then another normal picture!

Normal picture followed by me being goofy without BreAnne knowing! :)

I love you BreAnne :)

Sabrina and Bruno, San Francisco

We met Sabrina and Bruno through our friends and wedding videographers, Chris and Jennifer Mae (shout out to Major Diamond Productions!), and all pre-wedding communication happened via email and phone. So the first time we met this amazing couple face-to-face was on the most important day of their lives! There is something really cool about jumping into someone's lives like that. One of the first things we noticed was just how true their love was for one another. Many couples find it easy to just say that they're in love, but with Bruno and Sabrina, there is no denying how much they really do love each other. Even at times where they were just looking into each other's eyes, or embracing each other during the "romantic shots", you could tell that there's no one else in the world that the two of them would rather be with!

Bruno and Sabrina got married in the cutest little chapel on Treasure Island in San Francisco. Walk outside, and you have a stunning view of the water and the Bay Bridge. You couldn't have asked for a better day either, the weather was nice and sunny!

So congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Sandoval! Thanks for letting us be a part of your big day!

When you're in San Francisco, you can't pass up a photo opportunity with the trolly!!

No looking!!

This is one of those faces where it's wise for the guy to just smile and nod, just smile.. and nod.
One of my favorite moments during the wedding day is watching how the new husbands focus on their wedding ring. Probably because I still remember when I first had mine put on and thinking that it felt so weird to have something weighing my hand down! I always watch for their reactions!

We hope you guys cherish the memories and wish you both many many years of a wonderful marriage!
