{Post from Bre}
Laura and I go way back! We met in high school during study hall my freshman year, her junior year, and we bonded over boy drama, etc. I viewed Laura as a sort of older sister figure: she was pretty protective of me and would encourage me to stick up for myself. I distinctly remember her rushing into study hall one day, telling me that she and another friend of hers had been behind my ex-boyfriend in the stairwell, and that the two of them just started talking super loudly about how great I was hahaha oh the funny, random things you remember from high school!
Well, the days of boy drama are no more! Laura has found herself a really great guy! Taylor is so sweet, and it is clear that he adores her. During our session, as we climbed through the "nature," Taylor would just pick Laura up and carry her wherever we needed them so she wouldn't fall over in her high heels. That's love my friends =) We had an absolute blast on this shoot with them in Santa Cruz, where they live. We explored some areas around the college up there, and ended our session by the ocean. Laura was quite freaked out because we were pretty much shooting on a cliff...(see pictures towards the end of the post) It was also so fun meeting their gorgeous daughter, Madison Ysabella, who just turned one years old!
Congratulations on the engagement you two! Wishing you many blessings as you plan your big day!

On our journey, we came across a hammock that someone has set up in the middle of the forest... we did not use it. But couldn't pass up getting a picture of it!

As you can see, Taylor was the first one to run down towards the cliffs!

As we were shooting, we noticed the blowhole on the cliff and Taylor decided to inspect it... and then jumped away as the air came shooting up!! LOL
